But remember, you cannot be a top of the line player unless you know how to handle your money situation. Every blackjack player needs to know what they are doing with their money. This is something that you should learn early on.
What does it mean to be smart with your money? For one, you need to choose a table that you can afford. You will find blackjack tables with a low minimum bet, such as $20, as well as those that that have minimums in excess of $100. What type of table can you afford to play at? You never want to find yourself sitting at a blackjack table that you cannot afford.
You should also have an idea of what you will do with any money that you win. Are you going to keep all your winnings so you can go home with a smile on your face? Will you continue to play until you reach a predetermined amount of winnings? No matter what, you should have a basic idea of what you want to do with any money that you win.
If you want to be known as a great blackjack player you should learn how to play smart. To play smart you should know all the rules, how to increase your chance of winning, and how to control your money situation.
