At the lounges, the music is usually turned down a notch making conversations possible, and there’s no need to spend hundreds to get a table. Unless of course you want to, then good luck! The newest lounge located at the Mirage is a psychedelic mind trip created by Cirque Du Soleil and based on the Beatles era. The Beatles REVOLUTION Lounge features an LSD ceiling featuring 30,000 diachronic crystals designed to reflect light and represent the song Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds. VIP tables feature interactive tabletops where guests can create artwork and then project it on a diamond shaped column center lounge. This is the only place in the world featuring these $150,000 tables. Yellow submarine inspired portholes lines one wall while music focuses on the Beatles early in the evening and switches to more contemporary beats later on. Make reservations at 702-692-8383. On the south side of the Strip, Mandalay Bay features rum jungle. At night this restaurant becomes and ultra lounge featuring a sizzling hot firewall which transforms into a soothing wall of water. Call (702) 632-7408 for reservations and more information. At the Venetian, V Bar is another highly rated martini bar and lounge worth visiting. V Bar is an upscale quiet hideaway featuring leather chaise lounges, understated lighting and a very relaxed tone. There’s a huge selection of martinis and late nights, DJs amp up the energy with old school hip hop and R&B playing until 3 am on Fridays and Saturdays. Created by the founders of New York’s famed Lotus, this is one swanky hotspot worth checking out. V Bar opens nightly at 5pm. Call (702) 414-3200 for more information. Fifty five stories high are ghost bar, an 8,000 square foot lounge set atop the Palms Casino Resort. The highlight here is the outdoors sky deck, offering views of the Las Vegas Strip from high above. There is also a glass inset in the floor offering a dizzying view straight down. Posh seating areas are enhanced with a fiber-optically lit drink rail running most of the circumference of the deck. Also at Palms is the new Playboy Club. Part lounge, part high stakes casino, Playboy bunnies deal out hands of blackjacks while players sip martinis. There are also Playboy-branded slot machines. Over each gaming pit hangs a pair of magnificent Philippe Starck-designed Baccarat crystal chandeliers, whose elegant black styling is a modern-day Playboy Club signature. The Diamond Bar was built from 10,000 diamond-shaped crystals. Also on display is video wall of 60 plasma screen television casting images from the archives of the famed magazines. Like your martinis and girls a little dirtier? Try the new Pussycat Dolls Lounge at Caesars. The famous burlesque group is expanding. First they had a stage show, the some hit records, now they have a casino area at Caesars and a new lounge. The lounge adjoins the PURE nightclub and the girls strut there stuff, performing on a center stage every 20 minutes or so for a five minute act. There is no nudity and the acts are more of a cross between 1930s classic burlesque with 21st century tease thrown in for good measure. The Pussycat Dolls was selected as Best Burlesque Show in Las Vegas Life's 2005 Vegas 100 issue. The club is open from 4pm to 4am daily.
Hollywood's famous Pussycat Dolls burlesque troupe has brought its sexy stage show to the first ever Pussycat Dolls Lounge at Caesars Palace.
With a cast of sultry singers and dancers, the Dolls resurrect the glory days of the 1930s, adding some modern style. The Pussycat Dolls Lounge is a fairly small room adjoining the larger pure nightclub, which guests can access directly from the lounge. Walls are painted red and are adorned with large photographic portraits of Dolls celebrity guest performers including Paris Hilton, Charlize Theron and Christina Aguilera. Stages line two sides of the room, and there is a small, elevated, circular stage in the center. Seven nights a week, the Dolls, clad in fishnets, leather and bustiers, delight audiences with their performances. The Dolls sing, dance and tantalize using various props including swings hanging from the ceiling and a bathtub sitting on one of the stages. Performances are about three to five minutes long, but the Dolls reappear every 20 to 30 minutes with new routines. In between the performances, a DJ spins rock music and patrons can cool off with a drink at the bar. A few reserved tables with bottle service also are available. For some glamorous gaming, head just outside the lounge and look for the Pussycat Dolls gaming area, which features scantily clad.
