NCAA Basketball Betting: How tough it is!
Betting on NCAA basketball may seem easy enough, but if you have ever tried this you know that you are going to be up against the odds. Do you know why this holds true? Basically speaking, there is no way of determining which team is going to show up for the game. Sure, coaches take great pride in getting their teams ready, but in the end this does not always work out. And of course, in the NCAA Tournament it seems like every game is close.
Winning the close games in the NCAA Tournament is what can set you apart from winning a lot and losing a lot. This is evident by the way that the games unfolded the first day of the third round. Every team dreams all year long about making it to the Sweet 16, and of course, this is also a bettor’s paradise. But with that in mind, you need a bit of skill and a lot of luck if you want to come out with money in your pocket.
Take the Ohio State – Tennessee game for example. Most people bet on Ohio State because they are well aware of their great record and talented players. But with that being said, there were some people who took the underdog. So what happened? Tennessee jumped out to a double digit lead, and was playing their best ball of the year. At this point, it is safe to say that those who bet on Tennessee were going wild. But before they knew it, Ohio State had begun a run and they capped it off with a one point victory. How quickly things can change!
As you can see, betting on basketball and winning more times than not has quite a bit to do with luck. If you bet on Ohio State in the third round game it was looking bleak at best when they were losing by 17 points. But in no time at all, Tennessee fans were the ones feeling this way.
So remember, do not take losses too hard when betting on NCAA college basketball. You are going to win some close games and lose some as well. But if you are lucky, the wins will come much more often!
